Commission for the DC National Zoo
2018
Elephantoyus was a commission from the DC National Zoo to create an engaging and educational toy for their African Elephants. I was part of a cross disciplinary team of graphic designers, sculptors and engineers to research, prototype and fabricate a toy for elephants. My own design was selected out of 12 submitted prototypes and the model was based off two classic baby toys; the Weeble-Wobble and baby Stacking Rings. I also lead all metal fabrication.
